The Front Section 2 widget area in the Havana theme demo uses one Text widget to display text and a button link and one Image widget to display an image.
Text Widget
Go to Appearance > Widgets to add a Text widget to this area.
To configure the widget, click on the title bar to open it, and change the settings as described below:
- Title: Enter a title, if desired. The demo uses Welcome to Havana.
- Editor: Switch to the Text editor.
- Content: Enter the content you wish to display in this area.
- Button: To add a button you have to a link with the class button. See below for the correct html.
- Click Save to preserve your settings.
Image Widget
Go to Appearance > Widgets to add an Image widget to this area.
To configure the widget, click on the title bar to open it, and change the settings as described below:
- Add image: Add an Image by clicking the Add Image button. Upload an image, preferred layout is portrait mode.
- Add CSS class: click the edit button, on the Image Details screen add the css class featured-image. See image below.
- Click Save to preserve your settings.
